On Friday 24 February at Horncastle College, we will be showing this amazing new film with Free Entry for all. The film starts at 7.30 pm and we will have refreshments available and a raffle to raise some funds. The film lasts for 50 minutes and we hope to show a second film “The Woodland House” which has been voted the most popular ever, Grand Designs programme.
Come and watch the films and be inspired on ways to live, sustainably, ecologically and off grid (no mains services)

18Coffee Morning to celebrate Bees
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
We will be holding a coffee morning on Saturday 18 May between 10 am and 12 pm at The Community Centre, Manor House Street, Horncastle. This will have a Bee Theme to promote the Louth Festival of Bees the following weekend. Bee products, Bee keepers and a Bee Talk will be on at our coffee morning. Cakes, refreshments - all welcome Free Entry. |

Two very interesting & enjoyablefilms. If you saw them and would like to find out more I would recommend the book “How to Live Off Grid” by Nick Rosen. It is available from Horncastle library. The author visited many of the people featured in the two films while writing the book. He looks at many issues such as plannning in more detail than was possible for the film makers.
